It's time to dust off your favorite cowboy boots, grab your friends and family  and head to Ardmore, Tennessee for the 23rd Annual Police Reserve Rodeo at John Barnes Park 26425 Hamlett Street on August 5th and 6th.


The gates open at 6:00pm with the show underway at 8:00PM each night.  With a variety of rodeo events including barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, bronco busting, and rodeo clown antics.


Top Notch Rodeo is seeking competitors for the August 5th and 6th event.  They have announced added money of $500.00 per event. Anyone interested in competing there is an entry fee of $50.00. Performance times start at 8:00PM with Slack after performances.  Books Open to registration on August 1st with call in time: 6:00PM-9:00PM to phone number 256-423-4919. Competitor considerations include Ground Rules: Permits if needed and you must ride in Grand Entry. Stock Contractor for this event is Top Notch Rodeo Company. Buckles will be awarded to each event winner.


Advanced tickets are now on sale at Ardmore Police Department or from any Ardmore Police Officer or Reserve Officer. Tickets will also be available at the following locations:

Advance prices for ages 13 & up $12.00, Children 6-12 are $8.00 and 5 and under are free.  Gate prices for ages 13 & up $15.00, Children 6-12 are $10.00 and 5 and under are free.

Access to John Barnes Park can also be made via Ardmore Ridge Road located beside the railroad bridge overpass.

Dust off your cowboy boots, grab your favorite jeans and get ready to scoot your boots at the annual Ardmore Police Reserve Rodeo Dance on July 29th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at John Barnes Park between Hamlett Street and Ardmore Ridge Road in Ardmore, TN at the Entertainment Stage.

Everyone is invited to bring their chairs or blankets to enjoy the evening of free music and dancing.  Look for your chance to purchase tickets on two (2) $250.00 gift certificates from Adams Western Wear and chances on a grill for $3.00 each.

The Ardmore Police Reserve Rodeo is August 5th and 6th at John Barnes Park.  Advanced tickets are now on sale at Ardmore Police Dept or from any Ardmore Police Officer or Reserve Officer. They will also be available at the following locations: Adams Western Wear, First National Bank (Ardmore), Peoples State Bank (Ardmore), CB & S Bank (Ardmore) and offices of Town of Ardmore & City of Ardmore!! 22nd Annual Ardmore Police & Reserve Rodeo Fun Starts July 26th

Get ready for a little bronco busting, barrel racing and have a little boot scootin'  fun!  It's time for the 22nd Annual Police & Reserve Rodeo in Ardmore Alabama/Tennessee on August 1st - 2nd.  This annual event helps raise funds for training, safety gear and other necessities of the Ardmore Police Reserve members who volunteer their time to keep their community safe.

The Ardmore Police & Reserve Rodeo Queen  judging is this Saturday, July 26th at 26155 Thach Rd. Athens, Al 35613. Come cheer your favorite contestant and see who will be in the Queen's Court. This year's Ardmore Police & Reserve Rodeo Queen's Pageant is held at The Cowboy Church of Limestone County and horsemanship demonstrations will also be done there at 2-S Arena.


Grab your favorite jeans and cowboy hat and head to the Ardmore Police & Reserve Rodeo Dance on July 31st at 6:30PM in John Barnes Park on Ardmore Ridge Road, Ardmore, Tennessee.  Music by The Johnny Collier Band will fill the air and you dance the night away.   You'll also get a chance to throw a few curve balls at the dunking tank target sink an Ardmore Police or Reserve officer.  The proceeds from the dunking booth will be donated to the family of Molly Paysinger. Molly is a 2 year old that was diagnosed with leukemia and is now at St. Jude's receiving treatments. Molly and her family are from the Ardmore area and the Ardmore Police & Reserve want to help support this sweet child through this challenging time.

As part of the Ardmore Police & Reserve Rodeo fun, a $250 Gift Certificate to Adam's Western Wear of Ardmore will be given away each night at the rodeo. For $3.00 a chance, two lucky individuals will enjoy the pick of the store.  Anyone interested can ask any  Ardmore Reserve or  Police Officer about purchasing tickets.  Attendees at the Rodeo Queen contest Saturday, the Street Dance Thursday July 31st and both nights of the rodeo can purchase chances to win.

The big show comes to town August 1st & 2nd as John Barnes Park on Ardmore Ridge Road as the Cowboy and Cowgirls compete for the titles and prestigious Rodeo Buckles. You can enjoy bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and much more. It's a great family event. Bring the kids and enjoy the rodeo clowns too.
